Mexican Institute of Sound released his debut album Méjico Máxicoin 2006. Since then, M.I.S. has released 5 albums: Piñata (2008), Soy Sauce (2010), Poitico (2012), Disco Popular (2017), and Distrito Federal(2021).
His latest album is called Distrito Federal (2021) and features collaborations with: Dan The Automator (Gorillaz), Graham Coxon (Blur), Duckwrth, BIA, Cuco, and Banda Misteriosa. NPR included it on the Best Albums of the Year list.
